It's
de-Lovely
The night is young, the skies are clear
And if you want to go walkin', dear
It's delightful, it's delicious, it's de-lovely
I understand the reason why
You're sentimental, 'cause so am I
It's delightful, it's delicious, it's de-lovely
You can tell at a glance what a swell night this is for romance
You can hear, dear Mother Nature murmuring low "Let yourself go"
So please be sweet, my chickadee
And when I kiss ya, just say to me
"It's delightful, it's delicious, it's delectable, it's delirious,
It's dilemma, it's de limit, it's deluxe, it's de-lovely"
You can tell at a glance what a swell night this is for romance
You can hear dear Mother Nature murmuring low "Let yourself go"
So please be sweet, my chickadee
And when I kiss ya, just say to me
"It's delightful, it's delicious, it's delectable, it's delirious,
It's dilemma, it's de limit, it's deluxe, it's de-lovely"

Synopsis
In
Steed: "I'd rather like to meet him. You think you
could arrange it?"
Venus: "Yes I should think so."
Steed: "So the girls told you about his wonderful
healing powers. You have a friend, very rich, very old, very sorry for
himself, a hypochondriac millionaire. Me!"
Beste
scène
Steed

Venus
Smith zingt twee songs in deze aflevering: 'It's
a Pity to Say Goodnight' en 'It's
de-Lovely'. |

It's
a Pity to Say Goodnight
It's a pity to say goodnight cause I never saw stars so bright
But if you gotta go home you gotta go home
Give me a goodnight kiss
It's a pity to say farewell because the Man in the Moon won't tell
But if you gotta go home you gotta go home
Give me a goodnight kiss
How's about tomorrow night just you and me
I'll be waitin' for you darling underneath the apple tree
It's a pity to say goodnight because I want you to hold me tight
But if you gotta go home you gotta go home
Give me a goodnight kiss
Hey how's about tomorrow night just you and me
I'll be waitin' for you darling underneath the apple tree
It's a pity to say goodnight because I want you to hold me tight
But if you gotta go home you gotta go home
But before you go home give me a goodnight kiss
