Rock Werchter 2010 - Rammstein: All pictures were taken near the entrance, on saturday late afternoon and evening, exept for "ijsboerke". He was still there a few days later. Haachtsesteenweg rules!
These are 135mm @ wide open, no flash. Minimum shuterspeed 1/30 sec - some are iso 3200.
The Canon EF 135L is a portret lens with a maximum opening of f2. It has no zoom, and no image stabilization. In comparison: a f2.8 zoom has 50% more depth of field at the portret distance of 6 meters ... and thus less bokeh. Though, you don't need as much shutterspeed if you do have IS.
The camera, a full frame EOS 5D2, has enough megapixels to make a crop out of a top lens ... if the light is right, and the man knows what he's doing.
Some of these pictures are 100% crops ... and maybe that's going to far, if not in a first test of a new lens.
Rammstein will again be the Rock Werchter headliner, on Saturday July 6th 2013.
