The German Draughts Association will hold the 6 th International Draughts Tournament

In Cooperation with the BERLIN SPORTS CLUB Eintracht Innova from March 30 th till April 6 th 2002 in BERLIN.

Playing hall : Berlin 13057 , Dorfstrasse 12

Rules : Tournament by Swiss system 8 or 9 rounds. Time limit : First 50 moves per

2 hours, further 25 moves per one hours each for each player to end the game.

Schedule : March 30 th 4 p.m. 1^st round

March 31 th 10.30 a.m.2^nd round

April 1^st-5^th10.30. 3^rd –7^th rounds

April 6 th 9.00. a.m. 8^th round . 3 p.m. Closing ceremony

Participation fee:Adults: 35 €

Juniors( under 20 years) : 25 €

Children under 16 years : 15 €

Prize fund : About 1500 € ( dependent on the number of competitors )

Accommodation: At least 10 € per person/day ( dependent on number of person per room)

Accommodation will be at the premises of the playing hall.

On request private accommodation will be made available.

Douring the tournament food and beverages will be available at resonable prices.
