Transit” est un film documentaire de 25 minutes élaboré autour de témoignages de réfugiés (turc, congolais, colombien et iranien) ainsi que de personnes qui ont un point de vue sur la question des nouvelles migrations, à savoir Olivier Maerens, porte-parole de l’Office des Étrangers et Pierre-Arnaud Perrouti, du MRAX. Tous ces entretiens sont illustrés en animation et ponctués de diverses séquences qui donnent aperçu plus général sur la question.

Pratiquement toutes les techniques existantes du cinéma d’animation sont utilisées dans ce film : dessin animé, animation en volume (poupées articulées), banc-titre multi-plan, pixillation, Flash, images de synthèse, compositing, peinture animée, rotoscopie, retouches numériques, etc.

'Transit' is a documentary (running time 25 minutes) based on the testimonies of refugees (Turkish, Congolese, Colombian, Iranian) and also on persons who give their opinion on the issue of new migrations, including Olivier Maerens of the Alien's Office and Pierre - Arnaud Perrouti from MRAX. All the meetings are illustrated in animation and are enforced by various scenes that give a more general outline on the issue.

Almost all the existing techniques of the animation cinema are used in this film: animated cartoons, stop motion (puppets with movable limbs), bas relief animation stand, pixillation, Flash, CGI, compositing, animated paint, rotoscopy, digital imaging.

Biographie / Biography :
La création de ce film résulte de la démarche de jeunes auteurs rassemblés en " Atelier Collectif " dont William Henne assure la coordination. Créé en 1995, cet ensemble regroupe des créateurs s'intéressant aux diverses facettes de l'univers du film : narration, mise en scène, scénographie, photographie, etc. Les membres de l'équipe échangent leur savoir-faire dans une logique d'Éducation Permanente caractérisant, depuis ses débuts, Zorobabel (la structure de production). "Transit " est le cinquième film de l' "Atelier Collectif".
As coordinator of the 'Collective Workshop' ('Atelier Collectif'), created in 1995, William Henne is along with other artists involved in many aspects of the world of filmmaking : narration, direction, scenography, photography, etc. All the creators of the 'Collective Workshop' team, exchange their ideas and experience with a permanent educationnal logic characteristic of Zorobabel (the production structure). ''Transit' is the fifth film of the 'Collective Workshop'.
