Un mythomane, paranoîaque de surcroît, va pousser la logique du complot dans ses derniers retranchements. L'unique personnage du film met en scène sa propre vie en manipulant des poupées grandeur nature qui lui font office de famille et ses gestes se font l'écho de ceux de l'animateur, qui donne vie aux poupées d'un film d'animation en volume.

A paranoid schizophrenic will push the conspiracy logic up against the wall. The only character in the film stages his own life by manipulating life-sized puppets that represent his family members. His gestures reflect those of the animator, which in turn give life to the puppets of a stop motion film.

Biographie / Biography :
La création de ce film résulte de la démarche de jeunes auteurs rassemblés en " Atelier Collectif " dont William Henne assure la coordination. Créé en 1995, cet ensemble regroupe des créateurs s'intéressant aux diverses facettes de l'univers du film : narration, mise en scène, scénographie, photographie, etc. Les membres de l'équipe échangent leur savoir-faire dans une logique d'Éducation Permanente caractérisant, depuis ses débuts, Zorobabel (la structure de production). En 1997, William Henne réalise son propre film "Tout Jeune Garçon" puis, trois ans plus tard, sous sa houlette, l' "Atelier Collectif" offre son premier film d'animation, "Barbe Bleue". "Le Complot de Famille " est le troisième film de l' "Atelier Collectif".
As coordinator of the 'Collective Workshop' ('Atelier Collectif'), created in 1995, William Henne is along with other artists involved in many aspects of the world of filmmaking : narration, direction, scenography, photography, etc. All the creators of the 'Collective Workshop' team, exchange their ideas and experience with a permanent educationnal logic characteristic of Zorobabel (the production structure). In 1997, William Henne directed his own film 'When I Was Young'. Three years later, under Henne's direction, the 'Collective Workshop' released its first animated film, 'Bluebeard' . ''The Family Plot' is the third film of the 'Collective Workshop'.
