Northern Venezuela Birding Trip

Route This is our classical trip, which we organise already for 7 years.
The trip goes through different habitats from savannah's, cloud-forests to paramos above the tree line.
Following 4 regions:
On our April 2007 trip we had over 500 species in 18 days, among them Occellated Tapaculo, Northern Screamer, Orinoco Goose, Citron-throated Toucan, White-tipped and Golden-headed Quetzal, Military, Scarlet and Red-&-green Macaws, Saffron-headed Parrot, Ruby-topaz Hummingbird, Spangled Coquette, White-rumped Hawk, White-naped Xenopsaris, 3 species of Fruiteater, Andean Cock-of-the-rock, etc...

The trip can be organised for groups from 4 to max. 8 participants. In case of 8 participants, there will be 2 guides and 2 comfortable jeeps.
The endemic Red-eared Parrot Sometimes even a 3rd local guide will join.

Previous neotropical birding experience is not necessary.

Price: US$ 3920/person (min. 4 participants); US$ 2450/person (without guide, accommodation and food)

Included: All transport within Venezuela such as all land transport, 1 local flight, transfers, accommodation based on double occupancy, food, entrance fees, all excursions, guiding, handy checklist, tips for drivers, etc.

Not included: Your international flight to/from Caracas, international airport tax, travel insurance, laundry services, phone calls and all other personal expenses.
