Eastern Venezuela Birding Trip
A 21-day trip through Eastern Venezuela

Birds south of the Orinoco are very different from the ones to the north of it. This 3-week trip along the Eastern part of Venezuela will show you the best of this avifauna. So this trip completes most of the species that were not seen on our NW Venezuelan trip.

We visit following areas in E-Venezuela: Sucre, Caripe, Maturin, the Guyanan lowlands, the Escalera and the Rio Caura area.

Sucre

The Sucre peninsular offers many endemics, which only can be seen here!
We will visit the Paria NP.

The Guyanas

South of the Orinoco there is a complete different set of birds than in the north.
We will try to visit as many ecosystems as possible.
Of course we will pass the Imataca reserve and the Escalera road towards the Gran Sabana.
