Operation
- Pour grinded coffee in the glass
- Pour boiling water in the kettle (reduces the heating time)
- about 65 gr (2 1/2 oz) for 1,1 Liter (37 US oz) or half of each
- any grind or roast can be used, the result in your cup will be different of course
- light roast and coarse (drip) grind : weak taste
- dark roast and fine (espresso) grind : strong taste
- Light the burner filled with denatured alcohol
- Within a timelapse of about 5 minutes :
- the water starts boiling
- steam pushes the water out of the kettle to get mixed with the coffee or tea
- as the water goes out, the kettle is lifted up by the springs hidden in the 3 tubes
- once empty, the cap of the burner is released and shuts off the fire automatically

- the coffee syphons back, filtered by the screen at the end of the tube
- release the pressure by pulling out the stop
- Serve the coffee or tea through the spout and enjoy your cup

- Using tea : cover the leaves in the glass with some of the water so that the infusion already starts, while the rest of the water will come after about 5 minutes.

The vacuum brewing method is based on developments made around 1835. The siphon coffeemaker is recognised as the best vacume or mocha (mocca) brewer ever made. Also known as vac pot.- Static systems :
