"Hondsdolle dag" in Beervelde

On August 7th 2005 we visted the "Hondsdolle dag". On that day the park from Beervelde changed into a fun-fair for dogs and their owners. The whole day through there were activities and games for dogs. There were also a lot of demonstrations and stalls. The park is also very nice just to walk through and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Brigitte, the breeder of Toby and Terry, organised this trip and so there were a lot of Pulis and Komondors present...

All the Pulis together:

Vera with Zasko & Viper; Andy with Yantra; Kurt with Jazzy; Carlo with Csorgö & Dyjargo; Ann with Terry & Toby; Vicky with Voodoo.

All the Komondors together:

Here and there places could be found to take pictures of your dogs, like this dogcart.

It started raining during tea-time. Fortunately there was a shelter under a tent.

Toby (left) stayed close to Dyargo (central) all the time.

We stayed together as much as possible, so the two Hungarian breeds were a nice sight.

Carlo with Dyargo in the "konijnenpijp" (rabbitpipe), one of the many dog-games.

Stefan and Toby in the "kippenren" (chicken-run). Toby runs moderately but arrives well.

And Brigitte lures Csorgö through the "doolhof" (labyrinth), it goes very well.

After all the games and running it's time to drink some water. There was a barrel of it!

At any rate it was a very splendid trip. It was enjoyable for both dogs and owners. We'll surely be back next year!
