Keep in mind that the following morning reports on casualties is just for Company E of the 28th Regiment. The S3 reports (detail) are for the 2nd Battalion.

Nov. 19 Morning report Company E, 28th Regiment
179 present for duty.
Relief of 2bn 109th Infantry Regiment completed.
1 ½ miles south west of Vossenack.
Major Regan assigned as Battalion Commander. Artillery fire sporadically fell on our positions all day.
Men will dig in and improve their positions.
Nov. 22 171 present. 8 BC (Battle Casualties) Price, Arthur / Calderen, Ralph / Green, Orlando/ Marritt, / Cocke, Robert / Brunley, Lester / Gabrynack, Harry / Rafelke, Gasimir. All evacuated .
  11:15 Major Reagan left for 121 Inf.
  13:00 Overlay 81mm mortar targets.
  18:00 G Company moving early am to change with company of 13 infantry.
Nov. 23 176 present. 1 KIA (Killed In Action) - Knowles, Acel, 7 replacements, 3 NB’s (Non Battle Casualties)
  09:15 Companies' completed move with part of 13 Infantry.
  12:00 Overlay received from regiment.
  12:30 Possible counter attack on E Company.
  14:15 Company E getting artillery from Kommerscheidt.
  18:00 Overlay sent to regiment.
Nov. 24 173 present. 3 BC – Kenney, Robert / Hartmas, Chester / Cassi, Charles
  11:00 Overlay sent to 45-arty
  18:00 Enemy trying to drive out one of our tanks that are knocked out. Putting artillery and mortar fire on it.
  18:15 Artillery fire stopped tank.
  19:30 Shelling blew out all wire to rear, must use radio all night
Nov. 25 175 present. 1 KIA – Fox, Warren, 4 BC – Harrison, Warren / Holtmann, Adrian / Lewis, Dewitt / Kirkland, Ephrian. 1 NBC.
  11:00 Major Reagan left for rear.
  12:00 Disposition overlay from regiment.
  16:00 Blue requests permission to fire 050329.
  16:45 Major Reagan going to Company E with supplies tonight.
  17:30 Company E trying to remove weasel from their area.
Nov. 26 177 present. 1 KIA – Zevarella, Antonio, 2 MIA – Tate, Leslie / Canelli, Tarcisio, 1 BC – Hicks, John.
  11:30 Overlay received, radio channel to change at midnight. Fragmentary order received from regiment no change for 2 battalion.
Nov. 27 175 present. 3 BC – Ghisolfi, Harold / Heitmann, John / Nealy, George
  18:00 Enemy observed chopping trees to E Company front right.
  12:00 Lt. Chivas left for recon to front.
  12:30 Lt. Westoff left for recon on front will stop at Company G for the night.
  15:00 Capt. from Corp. Artillery reported to CP. to stay a few days and report shell report information.
  17:00 Lt. Chivas returned to CP.
  18:30 Two weasels stuck near Vossenack pulled out and returned to rear.
  21:40 Company G reported noise of tracked vehicles on road from Kommerscheidt to Schmidt.
