Who are we and what is our project ?
Our main objective is the preservation and the valorisation of the archeological and paleontological site LA BELLE-ROCHE, which is the oldest one in the Benelux (around 500000 years old). It is located in Fraiture (Sprimont), about 20 km south of Liège, in Belgium . In 2000, we have organised there the first international meetings “Villages witnesses of the first Europeans“. Now we would like to boost the cultural, scientific and touristic development of the BELLE-ROCHE site by a museum project and an exchange programme at international level.
