  • AFTER ALL NAME NEW ALBUM, REVEAL ARTWORK
It's official: the new After All album is called "Cult Of Sin". Right now, we're looking at an early March 2009 release. We'll announce the exact date in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, we can already reveal Gabriel Bueno's amazing artwork for the new album. Gabriel has been designing some very interesting stuff lately, for bands like Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God and Unearth. It's nice to be part of such an impressive portfolio.

Dan Swanö finished mixing and mastering "Cult Of Sin" earlier this week at Unisound in Örebro, Sweden. Dan provided us with an ultra-heavy, yet crystal clear sound, exceeding any expectation we had - just the way this record was supposed to sound!

Some very special guests performed on the album. We'll be announcing them in the coming weeks, along with snippets of the new songs. All friends of the band that signed up for the newsletter will have the privilege of checking out some new songs first. Be sure you sign up for the newsletter!

  • RECORDING OF NEW AFTER ALL ALBUM COMPLETE
Last month we completed the songs we started recording earlier this year. What a trip it's been... We recorded 9 brand new slabs of molten metal, as well as a nice little intro, a short instrumental piece and an über-heavy metal classic from the 1980s.

The new album tracks vary from blistering thrash to stomping hard rock and everything in between. Once again, we've been exploring some new grounds, expanding the After All sound as we do on each new album. Several songs feature very special guest performances from some of our touring buddies. Who played what will first be revealed exclusively to the members of our new mailing list - see below. In any case: prepare for another METAL ATTACK!

We'd like to thank engineer Dee J. for a great job. This session probably shortened his life with at least another five years. Thanks also to Jan at the Hype Studios for making us feel at home, once again...

Next stop is Örebro, Sweden where Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Hail Of Bullets, Novembers Doom) will take care of mixing and mastering the new album.

In the meantime, we are very pleased to reveal that Gabriel Bueno from Nova Design Works (Kataklysm, The Black Dahlia Murder, Walls Of Jericho) is finishing up the new album's artwork.

Expect more about the album title, the artwork, and snippets of the new songs to be revealed in the coming weeks... The members of our mailing list will get the news first - see below.

  • JOIN THE MAILING LIST

After All had the honour to be part of the festivities! We definitely had a blast and want to thank all who came out and supported us. The reaction to our set was amazing and it was good to see a lot of familiar faces in the crowd.

Dee J. is in charge of the recording, assisted by X-tof. After All guitarist Drieze is producing and overseeing the operation, as usual. Mixing and mastering duties will be handled by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Hail Of Bullets, Novembers Doom) at the legendary Unisound Studio in Örebro, Sweden.

  • NEW ALBUM "THIS VIOLENT DECLINE" OUT JULY 31
We are proud to announce that Dockyard1 has scheduled the new After All album "This Violent Decline" for release throughout Europe on July 31.

The follow-up to last year's "The Vermin Breed" was recorded by Dee J. at Hype Studio in Mechelen, Belgium. The album was mixed by Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Soilwork) at Studio Fredman in Göteborg, Sweden. Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Hatesphere) took care of the mastering at Antfarm Studio in Aabyhoj, Denmark.

With "This Violent Decline" After All continue refining their trademark thrash metal style. The album is slightly more melodic than "The Vermin Breed", with more room for melody lines and vocals. At the same time, "This Violent Decline" displays more speed, power and heaviness than any of the older After All albums.

"This Violent Decline" contains 11 tracks, including a re-recorded version of "Blind Euphoria" (from the 1992 EP "Dusk"). As a bonus track, the album features a video clip for the track "Frozen Skin".

Samples of the new album are available on After All's MySpace page: myspace.com/afterallmetal

The complete tracklist of "This Violent Decline" can be found here.

  • NEW AFTER ALL EP OUT IN JUNE

The EP comes in 7 inch black vinyl and is strictly limited to 500 numbered copies.

  • AFTER ALL SIGN RECORD DEAL WITH DOCKYARD 1
OK, here's the big news... After All signed a multi-album deal with German label Dockyard 1, the new company of Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (Iron Savior). The CD-version of the new After All album "The Vermin Breed" will be out on March 21st.

As reported earlier, "The Vermin Breed" was recorded and mixed by veteran producer Harris Johns (Voivod, Helloween, Kreator), at the Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin, Germany. "The Vermin Breed" CD contains 9 new tracks and some bonus material. Several songs were already presented live during After All's European campaigns with Anthrax and Overkill.

The new record clearly displays the growth of the band, both live and in the studio. The musical direction After All introduced on "Mercury Rising" has now been finetuned. That makes "The Vermin Breed" one sheer thrash attack. Be prepared...

  • "THE VERMIN BREED" TO BE RELEASED ON LIMITED VINYL
