FROZEN RAIN is not strictly speaking a group but rather a musical project. Driven by a passion and talent, Kurt Vereecke, keyboard player, guitarist and singer, writer, composer, but also Belgian producer has realized his dream!

He has surrounded himself with an anthology of musicians (with Tommy Denander as a part of the team!) to implement 12 AOR & melodic rock compositions. I can not quote all the musicians of this project here but they are welcome for their performance. Let me emphasize the 5 singers because the quality of their voices is delectable and so important for the success of an album! Kurt Vereecke is a perfectionist and he has left nothing to chance for this first album. He took care of the quality of the recordings, mix, and production in his home studio, without machines to replace the instruments!

The cover of the album and the booklet are simply magnificent! But what about the music?
The album sounds really nice and very fresh. Many titles reminded me of the 'soundtracks series' or films from 80's and some songs really take advantage of the great guitar performances. I think about Waiting For which opens the album, Music Keeps Me Alive, Red Light Zone, Park Café, Never Again Be A Fool Again, Your Love (with an excellent guitar solo), Say That You Love Me and Little Angel. The must of the album for me is the very playful On The Run, a veritable anthem to melodic rock!

This album, really rooted in the spirit and sound of the 80's is a bautiful visiting card, and I hope that Kurt Vereecke will continue the adventure he has started with this project.

Will you be seduced like I have been? Song samples are there for you to listen to. Check them out at
