Hardsounds

The Belgian keyboard player and songwriter Kurt Vereecke is the main figure hided behind the moniker Frozen Rain, an AOR project founded by the same Vereecke at the beginning of the third millennium. The long awaited debut album was released by Avenue Of Allies Music in 2008.

The sound brought by the Frozen Rain is a direct and pleasant meeting between the classic AOR sound and sweet melodic rock, a genre in which the European musician demonstrates the ability to treat with clear results both the songwriting and the arrangement of the various compositions, and creating an enjoyable batch of songs.

But the thing that makes this CD of Frozen Rain really noteworthy is the involvement of a laudable serie of known personalities of the AOR scene, like for example Tommy Denander (Radioactive, Deacon Street), Steve Newman (Newman), Jim Santos (Norway), and Ollie Oldenburg (already with the AORsters Zinatra), all without forgetting also the recruitment of our italian singer Guido Priori (Myland), who contributed with some backing vocals on the cd. The list of of names is completed by the acclaimed Daniel Flores (Mind's Eye among others) who delivers excellent drumming, another icing on the cake.

In any case a fine product, that will please the ears and the palate of all those who love sweet melodic rock with a touch of classic AOR.
A successful melodic rock project!!
