Excellent
debut of Frozen Rain with this album. It has become
a healthy AOR/melodic rock disc, filled with large choruses, captivating
riffs and lots of melodies. Listening to this album brings back memories
to bands like Signal or the solo album of Mark
Free.
It
starts with the great opener 'Waiting For You',
followed closely by the provocative 'Wire Of Love',
two songs with impressive choruses. The playing is wonderful throughout
the whole album. Responsible for the guitars are Tommy Denander
and Steve Newman. Listen to the incredible and
brilliant guitars in 'Music Keeps Me Alive'
and 'On The Run'. This album radiates a lot of
energy and melody out of every pore. After a slow moment with a
song called 'My Heart Believes It's True' we return
to the big rock with songs like 'Never Be A
Fool Again' and 'Your Love'. This is a
crackling and stunning debut that pormotes Frozen Rain to the big
ones in the genre. Very well done guys.
