Timetable:

11.00 a.m.

Holy mass, celebrated in the Hanswijk Basilica, will be solemnized by the Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussel, Mgr. Léonard.

03.00 p.m.

Hanswijk procession through the centre of Mechelen, followed by the closure ceremony in the Basilica, at about 05.00 p.m.

Due to bad weather, the procession through the centre of the city might be cancelled. In this case, Mgr. Léonard would lead a prayer service at 03.30 p.m. in the Basilica.

Track:

Keizerstraat – Veemarkt – Befferstraat – Grote Markt – IJzerenleen – Guldenstraat – O.-L.-Vrouwstraat – Vijfhoek – Hanswijkstraat.

Seats:

Tickets for seats can be purchased:
- by calling 015/20.22.94, or as of 3 May, by calling the ‘Hanswijk’ main office at 015/42.01.40

- at the Tourism Office, Hallestraat 2-4-6, 2800 Mechelen, 070/22.00.08.
- by making a deposit to the organisation: 001-5578246-46, v.z.w. Hanswijkprocessie, Augustijnenstraat 74, 2800 Mechelen.
Cards will be sent until April 30th. Afterwards they can be picked up on the Sunday of the procession at the reserved stand seats.

Price per seat:
€ 7,00 and € 5,00 for stand seats; € 3,00 for chairs.
For groups of min. 20 persons: € 5,00, 4,00 and 3,00 respectively.
