We managed to take some pictures of our very lively and cheerful youngster Scottlyme One Last Chance,
just one year old now, in between showers of rain and small hailstones hence the wet look on some photos.
Lizzie reminds us very much of some dogs/bitches further back in her pedigree.
She is precious to us being shaded sable and some day we hope to breed tricolours again with her help.

Sadly enough we had to say goodbye to Major on Thursday the 5th of May, much too young, he would have been 11 end of June...
Our best friend, always happy and playful. A wink of the eye was enough for him to react immediately, never letting us down,
confident in all possible situations and places. Grandson Wout’s best pal who came to say a final goodbye too.
So pleased we have his granddaughter Lizzie, who has taken so much after Major’s mum Zoë in looks and shares Zoë’s and Major's happy nature.
So pleased too and thankful to the ones who put faith in Major so that we can enjoy his offspring living in various countries.
We are very sad but choose to celebrate his life... Thank you Major, forever in our hearts.

Super results for Hungarian Junior Ch.Scottlyme Midas Touch at the show-weekend in Budapest (HU) on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of May.
On all three days, Midas won his class and collected 3 x CAC and 1 x CACIB/BOS but the highlight was the
AAPKK club show organised in the same weekend where Midas won CAC + Club Winner + Best Dog + BOB + BIS III
and fulfilled the requirements for the Hungarian Champion title!

A bit stiff and walking at her own slow pace, but enjoying the cuddles, the meals and laying on a soft bed, but
also a walk now and then. She is an unpretentious, soft natured and always contented personaltity. She hasn't been
shown much, but she did breed on with having a champion granddaughter living in Finland Ch.Scottlyme Hazel Moon
and her offspring. Kim is the litter sister to Ch.Scottlyme Xby Chance to whom we sadly had to say goodbye in
September 2012 at 14 years and 7 months. Kim is currently our oldest 4 legged member of the family.

We received Mister's (Ch.Scottlyme You Got It, 27/6/99 ~ 28/12/13) last champion title today:
Belgian Veteran Champion. We think he is the first Rough Collie to have achieved that title,
finishing it on the 25th of May 2013 at our Club Ch.Show with Best Veteran under John Catliff,
only a month away from his 14th birthday. He won the veteran class 5 years on a row at our club show,
with the other judges being Christine Collins, Andre Scott, Brian Hawkins and Paul Battigan.

We are very pleased with the results at the Dutch Collie Club Ch.Show (KCM) on the 14th of April.
Our shaded sable male Ch.Scottlyme I'm Your Man won the champion class and later on the RCAC.
Kane – who will be 4 years old in May – was shown 3 x at the KCM and won the RCAC at each occasion.
We are proud of the fact that Kane is homebred out of two Scottlyme parents,
with a Scottlyme grandmother and greatgrandmother and tracing through our tricolour female line back to
Limelight of the Colliery "Scott", the dog it all began with 6 generations ago and to whom our kennelname is dedicated.
Kane also goes back on both parents’ side to our foundation sable bitch Ch.Harriet Showpuppet.

with a great will to please to never let us down. He passed the sociabilty test and also obtained his agilty certificate. A late
developer he matured to become our first champion gaining the International, Belgian, Dutch, Luxemburg title and fulfilling the
conditions for the German Veteran title. Amongst his many wins are Belgian Winner 2002, in 2003 a BIS at a German Clubshow,
a BIG at a belgian all breed show, Breeders Trophy for most successful homebred collie in the Netherlands, Collieclub
Trophy for most successful sable in the Netherlands and in 2004 Best Dog at the Dutch Collie Club Ch.Show.

Huge congratulations to Ben & Falco on the title of Dutch Champion 2011 Combisport in the grade 'debutant',
a sport and competition organised by the FHN (Federatie Hondensport Nederland, www.fhn.nl).
They compete against conductors who are not disabled, on the understanding that some little adaptations
are made for some components of the competition, but they did it and beat them! We are so proud of them.
This is a title of much more value than all the show titles gained by Falco's family...
Falco is an official assistance dog, trained by his owner with the help of a specialised organisation.

On the 29th of August, on a warm sunny day, we said goodbye to our golden girl Harriet.
Kissed by the sunshine and caressed by our loving hands
she was not aware she was starting her final journey.
Thank you Harriet for all you have given us... so much, that it cannot be described in words,
but it is all captured in our hearts forever.
We are grateful to have your children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren at home
and look forward to further generations to follow.
We are also thankful for the many offspring in so many countries,
which makes us very proud and you very much alive...
Harriet was 14 years and 8 months young.

At the last show of 2007 in Wijchen (NL) on the 15th of December, Ch.Scottlyme Demoiselle wins the
CAC/CACIB/BOB and goes 5th in the pastoral group. She can look back at a very successful year with
5x shown in the Netherlands gaining 5xCAC, 4xCACIB, 4xBOB, 1x2°BOG, 2x5°BOG
and winning the champion class at the KCM and becoming a Dutch Champion.

20 years ago, on the 22nd of May 1987, a tricolour puppy dog was born at the "of the Colliery" kennel
in Genk, a village nearby. We called him Limelight, petname Scott, and little did we know then
that he would change our lives completely. He is the foundation of our kennel
and all the dogs born in our house carry his name as our kennel was named after him.
