This site contains the historical facts of the Templars. It has nothing to do with any organisation who cleams to be "succeeders" of the knights. Next to the historical part there is also a part concerning legends and the fiction.
 

An Order founded in 1118 by 9 knights to protect the pelgrims. The Templars disapeared in 1314 when the last Grandmaster was burned. Why their history hasn't been forgotten yet, will you read on this site.                                   

 

The author has done research about the Templar knights for over 15 years. This website has been written after extensive reading and comparative work. It is online since January 2001 and updated regulary.
