Nicky Silver
Geboren in Philadelphia. Silver begon te schrijven toen hij 20 was, nadat hij was afgestudeerd van het 'NYU's theatre program'. Terwijl hij zijn schrijverswerk voor zich hield verkocht Silver jurken bij "Barney's" tot het Vineyard Theatre van hem Pterodactyls in productie nam (1993). Zijn carrière schoot als een raket omhoog nadat de toenmalige hoofdcriticus van de New York Times David Richards verklaarde: "Maybe it's time to start taking the playwright Nicky Silver seriously."
