Tribute to our friends "ONE" and "XASTAR"

ONE VAN DE LOPES

ONE was the dog Joâo competed with end eighties, beginning nineties.
He was a large, powerful dog.
Tough guy with enormous drives and great grips.

He started competition at only 18mths of age, which is extremely early for a ring dog.
On top of that he even became BELGIAN CHAMPION CAT3 that very year, which made him "the youngest Belgian Champion ever"!

He is one of the dogs with the longest ring career ever, as he competed for 10 SEASONS!!

He won numerous trials and became PROVINCIAL CHAMPION twice!

XASTAR

XASTAR was ONE's grandson and Martine's ring dog during the nineties.

"I got Xastar from a friend when he was almost 2 years old and started training him.
He was a great student and only one year later he already started competition.

He did great in the trials and qualified for the Belgian Championship easily every year of his career.
Always ended in the TOP 5!!

He was such a great dog to handle. Super drive and grips and always ready to work!

It was his super drive that caused a premature end to his career and he had to be taken out of competition because of a bad neck injury end 2000.

He died in 2002 from a lethal pleuricy infection and I still miss him every day."
