ABOUT US

We are Martine & Joâo and we live in Belgium in a rural area next to a small town called Geel.

We both grew up with dogs and kinda “tumbled into dog training” very young.

Martine's first working dog was a German Shepard and Joâo started with a Doberman, but soon they fell in love with the Malinois breed and Belgian Ring training.

In the eighties Joâo won many trials with “King” and became Belgian Champion and Provincial Champion twice with “One”.

In the nineties Martine was Championship finalist with “Xastar” every year of his career.

Then A'Tim came…. He wasn't the easiest one to handle :-) but Joâo, being a “human A'Tim version”, succeeded in winning the dog's respect and together they went for the top!

Numerous victories, Vice Champion in 2002, Grand Prix Winner and National Champion in 2003 and a Körung 3 title are on their record of achievements.

After his successfull career, he lived a happy retirement in the house as Martine's personal protection dog and soon became her soul mate and very best friend.
Until the end he kept the joy for the work and when he was 12 he still participated a demonstration where he did a dual dog object guard and a defence, together with his son Fils.
He stayed in great shape until he passed away, after a tragic accident at 12 years of age.

Fortunately, we have A'Tim's sons Fils, Gast, Fun and Hit and his grandson Kid. They make sure this won't be the end of the story...
