He married Ghislaine De Kezel. Ghislaine was born in Laarne 07 MAY 1932. Ghislaine is the daughter of Leonard De Kezel and Celina-Marie Strobbe. At 23 years of age Ghislaine became the mother of Jimmy Vervaet in Heusden, 08 JUN 1955.

At 25 years of age Firmin became the father of Jimmy Vervaet in Heusden, 08 JUN 1955.
