Josephus was born in Oostrozebeke 31 JAN 1779. Geboren rond 1 uur 's nachts. Josephus was the son of Pierre-Francois De Caluwe and Marie-Catherine Van Ryssel.

Josephus died 12 APR 1851 in Sint-Baafs-vijve, at 72 years of age. Overleden in zijn woning, wijk Drogenbroodhoek.

He was christened in Oostrozebeke, 31 JAN 1779. Peter: Josephus Mingels, uit Oostrozebeke. Meter: Theresia Verfaille, uit Meulebeke.

At 34 years of age Josephus became the father of Charles-Louis De Caluwe in Oostrozebeke, 9 AUG 1813. Occupation: Wever 1814 in Oostrozebeke. Bij de volkstelling in 1814 is hij 36 jaar en wever, op dit ogrnblik woont hij in de Veldstraete.

At 36 years of age Josephus became the father of Ange De Caluwe in Oostrozebeke, 13 AUG 1815. At 42 years of age Josephus became the father of Constantinus De Caluwe in Sint-Baafs-vijve, 7 AUG 1821. Staat ingeschreven als De Calue Constantinus

At 45 years of age Josephus became the father of Ivo De Caluwe in Sint-Baafs-vijve, 7 SEP 1824. At 51 years of age Josephus became the father of Xaverius Decaluwe in Sint-Baafs-vijve, 12 JUL 1830. (See Josephus De Caluwe for the continuation of this line.)
