Steven De Baecke (flute), born in Ghent in 1969, studied the flute at the Lemmens Institute of Leuven and the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels. Among his main teachers we can quote Carlos Bruneel and Gaby Van Riet.
He also participated in numerous master classes given by outstanding musicians, such as Emmanuel Pahud, Aurčle Nicolet and Wil Offermans.
His breath control, variety of tone colours and technical skills make Steven an excellent performer with great panache.

Geert Claessens

After graduating from the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels (with great distinction), he won prizes at the most prestigious International Guitar Competitions all over the world: Mettmann (Germany 1985), Granada (Spain 1988), Wallcourt (Belgium 1992), Carpentras (France 1993), Vińa del mar (Chile 1993) and Mexico-City (Mexico 1994).
In addition to his solo recitals he regularly appears as a soloist with orchestra, performing all major guitar concertos across Europe.
