Band saw clamp help

It frequently happens that you must saw a short workpiece on a band saw. Firm clamping of short pieces is often a problem. Either the loose jaws of the vise are pushed at an angle or one does not have enough support for the workpiece. To correct this it is useful to pad out the jaws of the vise behind the workpiece, but often no suitable material is available. I made a simple universal tool to solve this problem. The length can be adapted to each situation as seen in the pictures.
