Having worked at Beauvechain AFB, this helmet means a great deal to me. Beauvechain was the homebase of 2 wellknown Fighter squadrons: 349 & 350 Sqn. There was always competition between them but only in a professional way. They NEVER got along but they were ALWAYS buddies! 350 Had a somewhat notorious reputation: 'Les grandes gueules!' as to 349 were a 'bit' more composed...

Anyway this helmet is dedicated to 350 Sqn: I covered the visor cover with dark grey leather as it was sometimes done and finally put an adhesive filt on top with the 350 logo.
