Instructor

If you have never tried painting outdoors you can gather  a few basic materials you already have at home probably to get started. This is a good class to get tips from someone who enjoys plein air paint outs and has lead workshops in the south of France and America--working outside the studio, rain or shine in watercolor, pastels, oils and pencils. Bring  your favorite medium and join the fun.

COURSES
Plein Air 2-Day
  Checklists

Learn how to select materials, set up palette, dress appropriately for whatever venue or time of year, find out how to gather things around home or make specific items that prepare one for setting up studio on the road .  The instructor will explain materials and components of a landscape atmosphere and cloud formations, and discuss potential places to paint.

At location she will demonstrate in one medium but students may work in any preferred 2-d medium. The first day is theory and the second is for practice. It will be a fun atmosphere of exploration and adventure. Pack up your gear and set up at the pre-selected place to start and finish a painting (or two) in half day paint outs before and lunch break.  Materials list supplied to registered participants.
