A comprehensive drawing class with everything -- set  in a beautiful, conducive atmosphere for learning. Intended for beginners or refreshers who want to learn  or return to classical drawing technique as a genre on its own or as a precursor for improved painting. All levels welcome.  Kick start drawing lessons combined with tours famous artist villages Intentionally small group, results oriented for high achiever wanabees -- students sometimes  notice new ability or improved work within first two hours of class. 

Monet-& Van Gogh Long Weekend © ( 5 days)
Drawing, Journaling, Photo-archiving for creative production inside Monet's Garden, with permission of the foundation, register by  June 1 early September trip, Includes travel, lodging, take along picnic lunches and orientation dinner, excluding wine.


Paint with the Sharks©  (10 days)
Luxury  paint outs  for the  Professional and Commercially-minded Artists
In dependent artists  working on advanced level , arrive with all the preparations and languages spoken for them to enjoy pre-selected  villages for producing work and touring  unexpected  places in and among famous artist villages of southern France. On the road days are combined with calmer  home days to enjoy poolside before taking off again. This area averages the best weather of all the regions in France and painting windows of up to 15 hours of light per day. Intentionally small group, well planned tempo  and varied terrain guarantees a good show material and refreshed spirit when you get return to the home studio to refine your starts or (select an inspiring  photo from new archives.  Checklists for packing clothes and media  are available in this site for clothing and per medium. .

  What Knot to Wear ©--Scarf & Accessory  ( 1-day)
Ongoing registration, 2 classes per year . Learn how to drape scarves in 4 sizes, pareos, shawls, sarongs into accessories and items of clothing. Workshop includes book written and illustrated b the instructor

International

Drawing  I - Drawing and Composition for Those Who Think They Can't

Ah, we beg to differ . Give us your time and attention during our immersion method class and we'll prove it or  money back! It is not unusual for  students to see improvement in their work within the first two hours of this class.  Class runs with minimum of five participants for five consecutive days. Add to Tuesday what you learn on Monday and so forth. On Friday, you can't wait to see if it works in the grand finale assignment.
Immersion Classes (consecutive) week, weekday evenings and weekends. State preference. Sorry no mix and matching allowed.

Every artist should experience plein air painting in Provence at least once!                                  

Each day  provides about 15 hours of wonderful light in an area of France that is reputed statistically to have the sunniest weather  possible but prepare for anything. You will see paintings waiting to be executed everywhere you look. One artist, in one trip cannot capture it all.                                   more
