Lynne CharlesAs a Principal Dancer with the Hamburg Ballet, Ballet Nationale de Marseille, Béjart and guest with English National Ballet, Royal Danish, Kirov Ballet and others, Ms. Charles currently teaches and Ballet Masters for Companies including Ballett Frankfurt, Aalto Ballett Essen, and various other companies throughout the world.

Paul Estabrook – American Ballet Theater, Cullberg Ballet and the Dutch National Ballet are but a few of the Companies Mr. Estabrook teaches for. A protégé of David Howard in New York and having choreographed for the Julliard School and Rudra amongst others, he will be leading a Neo-classical Choreographic Workshop following his class to create a short work. Combining a contemporary insight into how the body functions in a classical framework. July 29th – August 2nd 10:30 – 13:45 85 euros

Contemporary Workshop – Inaki Azpillaga Moving rather than formal technique will define the atmosphere of class. Terms such as intention, projection, change of dynamics, performing will be the language of the work; getting prepared mentally and physically to the high energy level used in this kind of strong floorwork and person to person confrontations while developing choreographic ideas, creativity and performing. Dance & Text – Einat Tuchman – Starting from a release based class and building into different improvisation exercises. To find a character by using different situations involving elements of everyday life, fantasy, describing a feeling through movement; writing text on a given subject and then creating movement from the emotion of it. Everyone has his or her own way of moving and behaving – that’s why a movement is coming out of a theatrical situation that is both individual and related to others.
July 22nd – 26th 10:30 – 14:30 100 euros

Dance & Voice – Angelique Wilkie Beginning from a release-Limon based class and building into linking dance, music and voice. The dancer will be encouraged to explore and create the "soundscape" for their own individual dance, thus enabling them to fully explore not only their own personal movement vocabulary, but also their inherent musicality and vocal capabilities.
July 29th – Aug. 2nd 10:30 – 14:30 100 euros

Artist in Residence – Karen Guttman As our first artist in Residence, from the Dance Lab Group in Ottawa, Ms. Guttman will be working on "the balance project" during her residency in Brussels. Open to collaborators, the process is one of guided discovery and creation of material based upon the theme of balance. "stillness, suspension, uncertainty, the potential to fall, unexpected, the postponement of the next movement, defying gravity, elements of strength and fragility"
