Why this site ?

I discovered wav-recording a couple of years ago. At that time I already had the idea of making this site to share my knowledge with the other guitar players out there. But since Wav-files are too big to dowload, I had to wait for the invention of MP3-encoding to actually make it happen.

I know there are millions of players out there who are better than me. I guess this site won't bring anything new to them. But I hope new guitar players will find inspiration in what I am doing here. And those brilliant players out there are welcome to display their stuff as a lesson to others.

With this site I don't intend to make any money, that's why it has no banners or commercial stuff attached to it. All I hope for is that you folks enjoy using the site as much as I enjoy building it.

Let this be a gathering for amateur guitar players, a place where those who can play teach those who can't.
