wrath child (joined march 16th, 2001)
I'm 38 years old from the "New England" area, in the USA.
I've been playing
guitar since age 13, it's my hobby, my recreation, my
therapy.
I jam whenever I can with whoever wants to play.
gear :
here's a pic of my babies!
Left
to right:
Scott Acoustic - Model S-90
Inexpensive
($160.00), but it plays and sounds great.
Explorer copy
(Unknown Make)
I paid $75.00 for it from a guy who "needed the money". It has
a floyd Rose tremelo, and authentic Gibson hardware. Perfect "pointy"
guitar for that "80's" metal sound.
Parker Fly
Deluxe W/tremelo
I bought this one new. It cost me a small fortune, but it is so sweet!
I ordered this with EVERY option, piezo bridge, stereo output, split coils,
flat spring tremelo,...the works. It's truly an amazing guitar. I play it
and love it to death.
Les Paul copy
(Harmony)
This is the first guitar I ever had. I bought it new, back in 1976 for
less than $100.00. Worn in, but not worn out fret board, re-wired, re-fitted,
modified, new hardware, tuners, etc... DiMazio Overdrive split coil in the
bridge, still has the original in
the neck, 5-way switching. This baby screams!

As for the amps, I have a Marshall Valvestate 8040 that I play most of the
time. It
has incredible gain and great EQ. It sounds great mic'ed, I use it for
recording.
Since purchasing
my Marshall, I no longer use any pedals or effects. Just
me-guitar-amp. I
do however, have a few foot pedals hanging around from some of my old
set-ups: Maestro
Fuzz Box, DOD Flanger, Ibanez Tube Screamer.
My Practice amps
are a Gorilla GG 25, Gorilla TC 65, Kingston 12 watt, and a
Marshall MS-2
I experiment
with numerous speaker cabinets and slave / master external
set-ups for the amps.
