andy v (webmaster)

My name is Andy V., I live in Belgium (Europe) and am what they call 'the webmaster' of this site. I was born may 18th, 1972 and have been playing guitar since the age of 12.

At that age I got my first (classical) guitar and I have been an addict since. My father tought me my first chords, later I got into scales and music theory. When I was young, I had to choose between soccer and learning music. Soccer attracted more girls so...to this day I still can't read any music (just rhythm), which I actually regret since I have no time to learn it now. Luckely there is guitar tab !

At about 15 years old, I got myself a cheap acoustic folk guitar which I still use. Only at the age of 25 or so, I started playing electric guitar.

I record on PC with the most common software, I don't use any expensive programs and to some people the sound of my recordings will be crap. I really don't care... Playing guitar should be fun.
