Brüggen does not have a train station, but can be reached by bus (lines 012, 067, 074 and SB88). Timetables are available through Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr – enter "Brüggen (Kr Viersen)" in the field for the town (Stadt / Ort) and "Markt" as the desired stop (Haltestelle).

The easiest way to reach Brüggen by car is from either Autobahn A52 or A61:

At the motorway junction Mönchengladbach (A52/A61) take the A52 towards Niederkrüchten / Roermond (NL).
Leave the motorway at Exit 3 (Niederkrüchten / Brüggen / Wassenberg). At the lights turn left onto the B221 towards Brüggen.
Keep straight (towards Brüggen) at the next set of lights, but then turn left at the following traffic light onto Klosterstraße. (Soon after this turn you will pass an Aral petrol station on your right.)
Keep to the main road, which takes several turns and changes its name from Klosterstraße to Westring and finally, after a left turn in about 1 km, to Roermonder Straße.
You will reach the apartment (at Roermonder Straße 46) after approximately 300 m on your left.
