Oplossing - Solution

De discriminant D van een vierkantsvergelijking is gelijk aan  b² − 4ac.
Eigenlijk de som van  b²  en  −4ac.
Daar  b² ≥ 0  en  − 4ac > 0   (vermits ac < 0 )
is de som van   b²  en  − 4ac  steeds groter dan 0 !
Een discriminant die groter is dan 0 betekent altijd dat de vierkantsvergelijking twee verschillende oplossingen heeft.
