• The maps available on my site are not of my own design - I'm far  too clumsy to be able to do that !
  - I built  the State maps from the site of the University of Virginia.
  - The lists of Counties by State are in the web page of Mike St Clair.
  - The story of the censuses in the territories is from United States Decennial Census Data 1850 - 1996. (broken link)
  - I made the connection of the County number with the County name having those County names from the site of the U.S. Census Bureau.
  - The maps of the U.S.A. territories census history in 1850 - 1860 - 1870 are from the University of Texas
  - and the global U.S.A. counties division for 1850/1860/1870 are from the site of Ed Stephan.
  All of those I modified and worked on to present my version of the arrival and settlement of the Belgians in America during the Civil War era.
