We are a group of marquetarians who are united in an association to perform the art of marquetry in a group. The association's goals are to teach the necessary techniques and to enhance the art of marquetry. Anyone who wants to practise this technique is welcome to join us.

Marquetery is the technique in which different materials are joint together in geometrical or figural decorations. The most common material is fineer wood. But other materials like gold, silver, tin, copper etc. can also be used in support of the chosen decorations. Marquetery is most common in paintings and furniture decorations. Marquetry is also commonly known as the art of "painting with wood".
