L’Estartit

L’Estartit is situated in the middle of the Costa Brava between the
Montgri massif and the river Ter.
|

Therefore the coast line is divided into a rocky and vertical coast,
ideal for divers, and on the other hand a long and large sandy beach with
shallow water, ideal for families with children.
|

In the town centre, there are lots of enjoyable bars and restaurants.
There is also a cosy shopping street and the local market on thursday is
worth while visiting.

Just 1 mile from the harbour, we reach the Medes Islands.
These islands are, due to their biological and ecological value, a very
important protected area. Here you
find a very large variiety of fauna and flora.

can you do?

l’Estartit has much more to offer than its fantastic beach.
It’s a perfect place for all kind of water sports. From the
harbour, you can discover the richness of the sa on one the boats that navigate
to the Medes Islands or the rocky coast. These
are ideal places for scuba diving or snorkeling.
You can admire hundreds of kind of fish and colorful corals.

You
also have the possibility to practice other water sports like kayak,
windsurfing, sailing, etc.

|
But, in l’Estartit, ther is also a lot to do on land.
You can go for a walk or ride a bicycle, possibly with a guide.
Furthermore you have the opportunity to play tennis, play golf, go karting, ride
a horse, etc.
